What courses can I do?
Cyber Revolution provides access to hundreds of different courses. Many of our students choose to take a CompTIA course and certification, giving them a globally recognised accreditation. How do I choose what’s right for me?
Step one is deciding you want training in one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Step two is getting into touch with Cyber Revolution. We offer a range of courses to suit your education levels, work experience, commitment to study and long term goals.
What formal education qualifications do I need to do a CR course
None. All you need is a desire to learn and a belief that by completing a Cyber Revolution course, you will open doors to many opportunities you previously didn’t have.
Do I need a background in technology to undertake a course?
No. If it is your first foray into the industry, a beginner’s course is probably most suitable for you. If you have worked in the sector but have no formal qualifications, an intermediate course might be the best option. If you are experienced in technology and want to upgrade your cyber security skills, an advanced level course may suit best.
Where do I find the course material?
All of our training is online through our learning platform, Percipio, delivered by Skillsoft. It means access to training 24 hours a day, no matter where you are. All you need is a computer with internet access to begin. Course materials can be downloaded, allowing you the flexibility of working on the go. Students can study on the way to work, sitting on the lounge or in their bedrooms, on a plane or even beside the pool when on holidays. You can access your training anytime, anywhere.
How long does the training take?
The length of training depends on the individual course and how much time you dedicate to it. Each course has an average study time guide. By purchasing courses through Cyber Revolution, you get 12 months access to complete the training. One of the great benefits of online training is that it allows you to study when it suits you.
How do I get support if I need help with the training?
Our Student Support team in Australia is available during normal working hours. For all students, expert tutors and industry professionals from Skillsoft are on hand 24×7 throughout the year. All students can contact their own dedicated support officer.
When can I get started?
Once you have signed up for a course, our Student Support team will issue you with your login details and ensure you can access the training fully. If requested, the team will orientate you around the learning platform. Our aim is to provide you with support for your training every step of the way, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
What if I change my mind?
We offer a seven day cooling off period from the date of your enrolment. This means you can withdraw from your course within the seven days, an administration fee of $500 does apply. After the cooling off period you are committed to the 12 month program and fees. But we are confident that once you begin your training, you will appreciate the opportunity a Cyber Revolution training course provides. The cooling off period does not apply if you go through our interest free study loan process.
How do I book an exam?
Please contact your support officer once you are ready to book your exam. We will help schedule your exam and provide any information required. Most exams are now available to be sat online.

How much does a course cost?
We know that everyone is different, and that is why you don’t see any individual course prices online. By speaking to our learning consultants we can help you tailor your learning experience respectively. This means you will get the course most suited for your goals.
Can I get help financing the course?
Finance is a great way to spread the cost of your course. To make it easy we’ve teamed up with ZeeFi, a specialised Education finance provider, who will provide you with tailored lending options quickly, easily and informatively.
Does the price include the exam cost?
Yes. As part of the upfront payments, we offer the course, expert guidance, regular check ins from our team and the cost of the exam to get you certified. All exams are delivered by external providers such as CompTIA. We can help you find a testing centre near you – anywhere in the world, even virtually – and can provide guidance on whether or not you’re ready to sit the exam.
General
Once certified, will I get a job?
We cannot guarantee that you will get a job after gaining a certification. However, we can confirm that certification opens doors to interviews, giving you opportunities to stand out from the crowd which you might otherwise have missed out on. Our placement offering includes introductions with niche IT recruiters and employers of choice, providing direct opportunities to enter the cybersecurity job market.
What salary can I earn?
Cyber Revolution have consulted seek.com.au and glassdoor.com – leading independent sources on salary trends – to bring up to date salary information for every course that we offer. Take a look at the ‘Average salary’ information on the courses that interest you.
Are the courses only online?
All of our training is online. There is no classroom based training through Cyber Revolution.
