Meet Our Leadership

Visionary leaders driving cybersecurity education innovation

Adam Hewitt

Adam has over 10 years experience in the education industry and has a passion for education that creates outcomes. He started off his career as a teacher after finishing his Bachelor of Education at the University of Canberra. He then decided to move into the vocational education sector, working with Registered Training Organisations (RTO) helping thousands of people over the years to either improve their current careers or change careers completely.

It was this broad exposure to all areas of education and training that made Adam an expert in this field. He realised that the traditional education system was a floored one. Far too many times he saw these large universities and training companies thinking that their job was done as soon as the student got their degree or certification and they wouldn’t help with job placement. Yes they might help with their resume and Linkedin profile but that’s about it!

Now, as the CEO of Cyber Revolution Adam focuses all of his time on making sure Cyber Revolution stays true to one of our core values, which is to deliver on our promise. And that promise is to not only provide an amazing student experience but to always focus on giving our students every opportunity to land their first job in cyber security. This is of course done through partnering with some of Australia’s leading cybersecurity companies, we call them our employers of choice and they hire directly from our student pool.

Dorus van den Biezenbos

Education underpins the future prosperity of Australia, and cybersecurity training is at the top of the list of required skills over the next decade. Cyber Revolution provides opportunities for people to learn and get jobs in the fastest growing part of our economy – technology.

It was the strong belief in life-long learning that convinced Dorus van den Biezenbos to establish Cyber Revolution. Dorus, originally from the Netherlands, studied and worked across France, Spain, Belgium, Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg and Australia. He was always inspired by the variety of work his management consulting career offered him.

After starting his own business in executive coaching and digital transformation, Dorus realised the fulfilment of “doing what you love” as an entrepreneur. It is that sense of empowerment and being the “master of his own destiny” that he would like to pass on to Cyber Revolution’s students.

In every career, technology advancements have constantly disrupted how people work and have created opportunities for those willing to have a go. Providing online education for people wanting to create careers, or change direction, or advance themselves, is the bedrock of Cyber Revolution. Helping students’ study and get certified is part of the service. Finding jobs for people means Cyber Revolution has succeeded in contributing to the community.

Alternative pathways

We at Cyber Revolution are proud to announce that we are a part of the NSW Digital Skills and Workforce Compact’s 20% Alternative Pathways Pledge.

As one of 41 organizations committed to this initiative, we pledge that by 2030, 20% of our digital entry-level hires will come from alternative pathways – including bootcamps, VET courses, and vendor certifications.

We believe cybersecurity talent comes from many backgrounds, and non-traditional routes often produce the most innovative minds in our field. This commitment aligns with our mission to “secure your future” by building a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we protect.

Together with our fellow Compact Partners, we’re helping address the 85,000 digital worker shortage while creating opportunities for underrepresented groups to enter cybersecurity. Because when it comes to protecting against digital threats, skills and passion matter more than the path taken to acquire them.
